Newtech, S.R.L., with registered office located at Romulo Betancourt Avenue # 1460, Bella Vista sector, Santo Domingo, National District, capital of the Dominican Republic (hereinafter, NEWTECH), as the owner for all purposes of the domain name https://newtechsa.com, and responsible for the automated rights derived from it, guarantees the full and full compliance with the obligations set forth in article 44.2 of the Dominican Constitution, Law 172-13 on Protection of Personal Data and Law 310-14 that regulates the sending of unsolicited commercial emails (SPAM).

 

The purpose of this declaration is to inform users of the personal data protection policy followed by NEWTECH. It will be applicable in the event that users decide to fill out a NEWTECH form where personal data is collected.

 

NEWTECH may modify this Privacy Policy based on legislative or self-regulatory requirements, therefore users are advised to review it periodically.
NEWTECH is fully aware of the use and treatment that should be given to personal data that may be required or that may be obtained from users on its web pages in order to manage the services offered or to send them commercial communications of products or services that may be of interest to you, provide information on job opportunities to users, analyze and select candidate profiles, manage our relationships with customers and suppliers, and respond to specific inquiries and requests.

 

 

You are required to provide us with Personal Data about yourself in connection with your application for employment with NEWTECH, as well as the necessary consent for us to collect, process and store such Personal Data in the manner set forth below. You should note that failure to provide the required Personal Data and consent will be valid grounds for us to disregard your application for employment with NEWTECH. The same applies if you withhold or withdraw consent necessary for us to collect and process such Personal Data to proceed with your application for employment.

 

 

NEWTECH will use your Personal Data to process your application for employment, including recruitment, hiring management, and background and/or reference checks so that we may comply with legal obligations and further our legitimate business interests in evaluating you for a position with the company. We may use Personal Data to ensure that we comply with labor laws, verifying your eligibility to work in the Dominican Republic, the establishment and defense of legal claims that may be required in legal proceedings and other legal obligations.

 

 

We collect Personal Data that identifies, relates to, describes, references, can be associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly to you, after obtaining your consent through the application form you signed or by your express agreement to a Privacy Notice.

We inform you that the processing of such data is necessary to fulfill the obligations arising from the recruitment and selection process between you and NEWTECH, for which reason your consent is exempted.

NEWTECH will process your personal data to perform the following primary and necessary activities: (a) maintain basic contact information; (b) process and evaluate your application; (c) use and analysis of your personal data to prevent and detect any non-compliance with internal policies and investigations of information security issues and for fraud detection and prevention; (d) collect information about your references and conducting investigations in order to verify the information you provide; e) protect the security of our employees and visitors, NEWTECH uses CCTV and video, security credentials (including photo identification) and entry/exit logs to monitor building access points and access to secure areas and systems; and f) comply with obligations under applicable laws and regulations.

 

 

We retain your Personal Data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes identified in this Notice and the relationship between NEWTECH and you, or as required by law.

 

 

The rights over your Personal Data are those determined and established in the current legislation that governs the matter.

 

 

To make a request to exercise your privacy rights, you can do so through our Human Resources department.

 

 

NEWTECH will adopt the necessary technical and organizational measures that guarantee the security of personal data and thus send its alteration, loss, treatment, or unauthorized access, taking into account the state of technology. However, NEWTECH cannot guarantee the absolute impregnability of the Internet network and therefore the violation of data through fraudulent access to them by third parties.

 

 

Once the processing of your data is not necessary, we will delete and / or block it in accordance with our data retention and deletion policy and the statutory limitation periods in accordance with current regulations. After these periods we will destroy your data.

 

 

NEWTECH offers its users services that use cookies and/or pixels. A cookie is a small text file that the server can save on a computer’s hard drive to store some type of information about the user. The cookie can only be read by the website that sent it to the user’s computer. It is not an executable file, nor can it spread or contain a virus. NEWTECH uses this data with the aim of improving its services. The information that NEWTECH stores through this mechanism allows the user to be recognized on their different visits to the website. The user can configure their browser to accept or reject cookies. However, NEWTECH advises and recommends that users activate the acceptance of cookies to obtain more precise data that allows to improve the content and adapt it to the user’s preferences. NEWTECH is not responsible for any issues caused by deactivating cookies which may prevent proper functioning of the page.

 

 

Users will be responsible, in any case, for the veracity of the data provided and are responsible for notifying NEWTECH of any changes to them, and NEWTECH is exempt from any type of responsibility in this regard.

 

 

Users have the right to access, cancel, rectify, and oppose the processing of their personal data. To exercise these rights, users must submit a written request to the addresses indicated in each case or to the address indicated in point 1, identifying and specifying their request. If necessary, they must provide a photocopy of their Identity Card or equivalent document.
